Our children developmentally go through different stages in cognitive, social and emotional levels. While some changes are biologically and evolutionarily predetermined in a child’s development, some are the result of the environment. The modern environment is very demanding and presents many new challenges to our parenting role.
Knowing what each developmental stage looks like for our child enables us to know what to expect and how to deal with it. This knowledge enables us to create a better relationship with our child, to have meaningful communication and understanding, and to help them ultimately become a happy, independent, and dynamic child.
Through years of personal experience as a mother myself and working with other parents, I have developed the tools to enable us to partner together from the first step in your journey as parents. Offering you knowledge and assistance on all issues related to the daily life and needs of the modern family.
Parent counselling is offered either individually or in parent groups.
Parent groups are structured according to the age and developmental stages of children (preschool, school and adolescence). The groups are in principle educational and experiential. But above all they are a safe environment for sharing and communication. Based on the principles of understanding, solidarity and respect, the groups are made up of parents with similar concerns and needs. The exchange of views and experiences between participants is encouraged.
