Group therapy is another way of mental support and development. Personal growth in a therapy group is facilitated through interaction with other people in a safe, supportive context.
Each therapeutic group is structured around the principles of confidentiality, respect and care to provide a safe, supportive environment. Our bodies and minds need to feel safe in order to let go of caring and ultimately health and happiness. Safety motivates learning and improves quality of life at all levels.
The supportive group environment allows us to connect with other people to feel a sense of belonging and reduces feelings of isolation. It is an environment that reduces emotional pain, offers hope, inspiration and encouragement. It makes it easier for us to get to know ourselves and how we relate to other people. It encourages us to share feelings, thoughts and concerns. It helps us to understand and develop ourselves through connection and interaction.
